The animated preschool series DOOZERS focuses on four Doozers kids, a team of best friends who live in Doozer Creek, a community that is a wonderful blending of the fantastical, modern, and eco-friendly. Dubbed “the Pod Squad,” Spike, Molly Bolt, Flex, and Daisy Wheel bounce from one fabulous kid adventure to the next. Like a Scout troop, the Pod Squad engages in exciting projects and has a blast playing together. The Pod Squad loves to DESIGN, CREATE, and INNOVATE. These Doozers are DOERS – they put their ideas into action! If that sounds like work, think again! What kid wouldn’t want to design their very own Doozer Derby racing car, fly in a jetpack (or better yet…fly with a kaleidoscope of butterflies!), or build a giant life-sized gingerbread house?! Whatever they are doing, the Pod Squad always manages to have a fantastic time!
Educational Approach DOOZERS engages with the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) initiative by featuring a design thinking curriculum targeted for preschoolers. Preschoolers are natural inventors, creative thinkers and engineers. DOOZERS will inspire children to celebrate innovation and come up with their own solutions to problems and desires in their kid lives. By fostering young inventors, DOOZERS is opening up the content areas and exploration opportunities in engineering, design thinking, artistic expression, creative problem solving, scientific inquiry, and hands-on making appropriate for this age group.
